E&L was started by a roofing company production manager and insurance recovery specialists, so claims are a core part of what we do. How do I know if I need a repair or a full roof replacement? Isolated damage can usually be repaired. That includes a few shingles lost to wind or a small leak around flashing or a vent. Widespread hail bruising, curling or bare shingles across the roof, soft decking or repeated leaks usually point to replacement, especially on an older roof. We'll inspect it for free and tell you what we see. How long does a typical asphalt shingle roof last here? Most asphalt shingle roofs last roughly 20 to 30 years, depending on the shingle, attic ventilation and how much weather they've taken. In southwest Ohio, freeze-thaw cycles, summer heat and hail wear shingles faster. Around Savannah and Hinesville, heat, humidity and coastal storms do the same. If your roof is in that range or you see curling or missing shingles, a free inspection will tell you where it stands. What roofing materials do you install? On homes we install asphalt shingles in a range of colors, including Weathered Wood, Pewter, Burnt Sienna, Moire Black, Driftwood, Georgetown Gray and Colonial Slate. We also install siding and gutter and downspout systems. We handle commercial roof installation, repair and replacement. If you're choosing a color, we can walk you through the options. Replacing siding is a cost-effective way to give a house a new look, and we install gutter and downspout systems. Properly installed gutters carry water away from your roof edge, siding and foundation instead of letting it spill over. Tell us what's going on with your roof, siding or gutters and where the property is. We'll contact you to set up a free roof inspection. What should I do after a hailstorm or high winds? Stay off the roof and check what you can from the ground. Look for missing or lifted shingles, dented gutters, granules collecting at the downspouts, and new leaks or ceiling stains inside. Take photos and call us at (937) 974-0839 to set up a free inspection, since hail and wind damage isn't always visible from the ground. ## Company Do you offer financing? Yes, financing is available.
