Most of the tree trouble we see starts above the roofline. A limb rubbing the shingles wears away the granules. Branches drop leaves and twigs that clog the gutters. A dead or leaning tree can come down in the next thunderstorm or high wind, and when one does, it rarely lands somewhere convenient. Because we're a roofing company, we look at a tree problem from the roof down. We take out the tree or limbs causing the trouble and clear the debris off the roof and out of the gutters. Then we check the shingles, flashing, gutters and siding for damage. If a storm brought the tree down, we document what we find and help you with the insurance claim from start to finish. ## Common questions

Do you remove trees that have fallen on a roof?

Yes. We clear the tree and debris off the roof, then inspect and repair the roof, gutters and siding it damaged. If a storm caused it, we help you with the insurance claim as well.

Will my homeowners insurance cover tree removal?

It depends on your policy and on what happened. Coverage is more likely when a storm drops a tree on your house than when a healthy tree is taken down as a precaution. We help homeowners with every part of the claim process, including documenting the damage.

Should branches that hang over my roof be cut back?

Usually, yes. Branches touching or close to the roof scrape the shingles, fill the gutters with debris and can break off onto the roof in a storm. We can trim them back and check the roof for wear while we're there.
